Hosts

If you decide you want to start your own website you’re going to need a host. Here’s a list of hosts and what the offer.
Beginner Hosts:
This host is good for beginners and people starting out their first site. I recommend it until you have learned more about HTML and such.
Freewebs:
Freewebs is a good host for beginners. You can start off with a premade freewebs layout. Or if you know your HTML you can use html mode.
Good things
-easy site builder mode and HTML mode
-uploads
Bad things
-Have to have the freewebs sticker
-does not have PHP, SHTML, and others. So cutenews and some others won’t work here.
-costs money for better features (ex. To change you name it’s like $5. And more bandwidth you’ll need to pay yearly or monthly)
-only in HTML mode you are ad free
-if you accidentally downgrade to HTML mode the only way you can go back to easy builder mode if you have a plan or you make a new account

Advanced hosts:
The next host is for the more advanced users of HTML, PHP or others. Not recommended if it’s your first time creating a site.
Freehostia:
Freehostia is a good host for the more advanced users. It is PHP enabled so you can put cutenews and other news programs on it.

Site Hosts:
You might find that some sites host other sites. Like you may be looking at a site's affies and you see a site that interests you. So you click the name and it might be something like site-name.piplup-princess.com or ho-ohsfire.net/site-name. Those sites are being hosted by other sites that supply hosting to other sites. Most sites that supply hosting have a page or something that talks about their hosting. Here are some of the sites I know that host other sites.
